Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Kompressionsbegrenzer (133) für eine Wandleranordnung (120) zur Bereitstellung eines DC-Erregerstroms in einem Rotor (118), wobei die Wandleranordnung (120) eine Transformatoreinheit (128) mit einer Primärwicklung und einer Sekundärwicklung (131) und einen der Transformatoreinheit (128) nachgeschalteten Gleichrichter aufweist, wobei die Sekundärwicklung (131) an einem Wickelträger (130) angebracht ist, wobei der Gleichrichter von einem Gleichrichtergehäuse (132) aufgenommen ist, wobei der Kompressionsbegrenzer (133) zum Befestigen des Wickelträger (130)s am Gleichrichtergehäuse (132) einen Flanschabschnitt (135) und einen sich vom Flanschabschnitt (135) in einer Längsrichtung erstreckenden Einsteckteil (134) umfasst, wobei der Kompressionsbegrenzer (133) einen Längsschlitz (138) aufweist, der sich vom Einsteckteil (134) bis in den Flanschabschnitt (135) durchgehend erstreckt.
