Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer mehrphasigen elektrischen Maschine (1), wobei eine Statoranordnung (21) reguläre Phasenstränge (V, W) und eine Hybridphase aus mehreren Hybridphasensträngen (U1, U2) mit jeweils einer oder mehreren Statorspulen (23) vorsieht, wobei die elektrische Maschine (1) betrieben wird mit folgenden Schritten: - Bestimmen der Phasenspannungen für die regulären Phasenstränge (V, W) und die Hybridphase; - Ermitteln einer einzustellenden Erregerwechselspannung; - Beaufschlagen der Phasenspannungen für die Hybridphasenstränge (U1, U2) mit einer Erregerwechselspannung.[English]
