Abstract[English]
A method of distributed direct air carbon capture for use with HVAC systems, including the steps of installing a filter assembly in a HVAC unit, adsorbing carbon dioxide in the filter by circulating a carbon dioxide containing gas through the filter, removing the filter assembly from the HVAC unit when the sorbent media has reached a predefined adsorption limit of carbon dioxide, replacing the filter assembly with a fresh filter assembly, storing the full filter assembly in a transportation unit, configuring the transportation unit to maintain a temperature and provide a sealed environment, filling the transportation unit with a plurality of full filter assemblies and relocating the transportation unit to a Desorption facility, configuring the transportation unit to interface with the desorption facility and preforming a desorption process for the plurality of full filter assemblies within the transportation unit, collecting an amount of carbon dioxide from the transportation unit.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de captage direct et distribué de carbone présent dans l'air destiné à être utilisé avec des systèmes CVC, comprenant les étapes consistant à : installer un ensemble filtre dans une unité CVC, adsorber le dioxyde de carbone dans le filtre par circulation d'un gaz contenant du dioxyde de carbone à travers le filtre, retirer l'ensemble filtre de l'unité CVC lorsque le milieu sorbant a atteint une limite d'adsorption prédéfinie de dioxyde de carbone, remplacer l'ensemble filtre par un ensemble filtre neuf, stocker l'ensemble filtre complet dans une unité de transport, configurer l'unité de transport pour maintenir une température et assuré un environnement étanche, remplir l'unité de transport avec une pluralité d'ensembles filtres complets et déplacer l'unité de transport vers une installation de désorption, configurer l'unité de transport pour l'interface avec l'installation de désorption et réaliser un processus de désorption pour la pluralité d'ensembles filtres complets à l'intérieur de l'unité de transport, collecter une quantité de dioxyde de carbone provenant de l'unité de transport.
