Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines elektronischen Sicherheitssystems (5) eines Fahrzeugs (2), wobei − ein Nutzer (3) des Fahrzeugs (2) mit einer Erfassungseinrichtung (7) erfasst wird, − auf Basis des erfassten Nutzers (3) durch eine elektronische Auswerteeinheit (8) des elektronischen Sicherheitssystems (5) festgestellt wird, ob der Nutzer (3) eine Datenbrille (1) trägt, wozu mit der elektronischen Auswerteeinheit (8) überprüft wird, ob ein spezifisches Identifizierungsmerkmal (11) der Datenbrille (1), mit welchem die Datenbrille (1) identifizierbar ist, detektierbar ist, − falls festgesellt wird, dass der Nutzer (3) die Datenbrille (1) trägt, wird eine Gefahreninformation betreffend eine durch das Tragen der Datenbrille (1) ausgehende Gefahr durch die elektronische Auswerteeinheit (8) generiert, und − das elektronische Sicherheitssystem (5) derart betrieben wird, indem auf Basis der Gefahreninformation zumindest eine Sicherheitsfunktion aktiviert wird. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein elektronisches Sicherheitssystem (5) und ein Fahrzeug (2).[English]
