Abstract[English]
The invention relates to a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO: 1 for use in the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke (AIS) or in the prevention of the complications of AIS in an adult mammalian subject. The polypeptide can be used in patients in whom AIS is followed by reperfusion of ischemic brain tissue, or in patients in whom AIS is not followed by reperfusion of ischemic brain tissue (patients with permanent cerebral ischemia).[French]
L'invention concerne un polypeptide de SEQ ID N° 1 destiné à être utilisé dans le traitement de l'accident vasculaire cérébral (AVC) ischémique aigu ou dans la prévention des complications de l'AVC ischémique aigu chez un sujet mammifère adulte. Le polypeptide peut être utilisé chez des patients chez lesquels l'AVC ischémique aigu est suivi de la reperfusion du tissu cérébral ischémique ou chez des patients chez lesquels l'AVC ischémique aigu n'est pas suivi de la reperfusion du tissu cérébral ischémique (patients atteints d'ischémie cérébrale permanente).
