A sub-assembly of a medicament delivery device, the sub-assembly comprising a housing extending from a proximal end to a distal end along a longitudinal axis; wherein the housing is configured to accommodate a medicament container; a delivery member guard partially positioned within the housing and axially movable relative to the housing along the longitudinal axis; wherein the delivery member guard comprises a proximal portion being telescopic to the proximal end of the housing; wherein the delivery member guard comprises a distally directed surface configured to be in contact with the medicament container such that medicament container can be moved along with the delivery member guard in the distal direction relative to the housing.[French]
