Abstract[English]
A tibial shaping guide and associated shaper are disclosed. More specifically, a tibial shaper guide and a tibial shaper used to prepare a tibia bone for an implant are shown. The shaper guide includes a body with an anterior guide recess and multiple fixation pin holes configured to accept parallel and potentially oblique pins for secure fixation to the tibia. The tibial shaper features a distal interlocking portion, potentially for engaging an impactor tool, and a proximal shaping body. The shaping body includes a vertical shaping portion terminating in a proximal shaping cavity (e.g., hollow rectangular) designed to shape bone via impaction. In use, the guide is fixed to the tibia. The shaper may be inserted into the guide's anterior recess at an angle, possibly using an elbow feature as a fulcrum, then oriented upright for impaction. The guide restricts side motion, ensuring the shaper creates an accurately placed cavity.[French]
