Disclosed is an electromechanical brake actuator (100) for a brake unit, wherein the brake unit comprises a brake mechanism (210) configured to convert an actuation force (10) from the brake actuator (100) into a brake force (20) for braking a wheel or an axle. The electromechanical brake actuator (100) comprises an electric motor (110), configured to provide the actuation force (10), and a sensor (120), configured to generate output data for measuring the actuation force (10).[French]
