Abstract[English]
The present invention provides an exhaust gas treatment system comprising an intake for receiving an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and a catalyst system, which catalyst system comprises: a substrate having an LNT zone extending from an inlet end and a TWC zone extending from an outlet end; or a first upstream substrate comprising an LNT zone and a second downstream substrate comprising a TWC zone. Also provided is a combustion and exhaust system and a method of its use; and a method for treating methane in an exhaust gas.[French]
La présente invention concerne un système de traitement de gaz d'échappement comprenant une admission destinée à recevoir un gaz d'échappement provenant d'un moteur à combustion interne et un système catalyseur, lequel système catalyseur comprend : un substrat ayant une zone LNT s'étendant d'une extrémité d'entrée et une zone TWC s'étendant d'une extrémité de sortie ; ou un premier substrat amont comprenant une zone LNT et un second substrat aval comprenant une zone TWC. L'invention concerne également un système de combustion et d'échappement et son procédé d'utilisation ; et un procédé de traitement du méthane dans un gaz d'échappement.
