Die Erfindung betrifft eine Flüssigkeitsauffangvorrichtung (2) zum Auffangen und Sammeln einer Flüssigkeit, umfassend eine Schale (4) und einen Schwappschutz (6) zur Unterbindung oder Reduzierung von Schwappbewegungen der in der Schale (4) befindlichen Flüssigkeit bei einem Transport der Flüssigkeitsauffangvorrichtung (2), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwappschutz (6) als eine Mehrzahl von an einer Innenseite (8) der Schale (4) angeordneter Erhebungen (10) ausgebildet ist, wobei das Gesamt der Erhebungen (10) einen zentralen Bereich (12) der Schale (4) von einem Randbereich (14) der Schale (4) rahmenartig trennt, und wobei die einzelnen Erhebungen (10) jeweils mittels Durchflusslücken (16) voneinander derart beabstandet sind, dass die Flüssigkeit mittels der Durchflusslücken (16) in einer Auffanglage der Flüssigkeitsauffangvorrichtung (2) von dem Randbereich (14) der Schale (4) in den zentralen Bereich (12) der Schale (4) und bei einem Ausgießen der Flüssigkeit aus der Flüssigkeitsauffangvorrichtung (2) von dem zentralen Bereich (12) der Schale (4) in den Randbereich (14) der Schale (4) überfließen kann.
