Abstract[English]
A method of generating a signal associated with a participant of video communication. The method comprises providing at least two sensors in a meeting location for acquiring a respective sensor signal, wherein at least one of the acquired sensor signals comprises information related to the participant; providing a host processing device for each of the at least two sensors for receiving and analysing the respective sensor signal for generating respective metadata, wherein the respective metadata comprises information about the respective sensor signal; each host processing device sending the respective metadata to a client processing device; the client processing device determining, based on the received respective metadata, whether to request at least a part of the respective sensor signal acquired by at least one of the at least two sensors; upon determining to request the at least a part of the respective sensor signal, the client processing device sending a request to the host processing device receiving the respective sensor signal from the at least one of the at least two sensors; upon receiving the request, said host processing device sending the at least a part of the respective sensor signal to the client processing device; the client processing device generating the signal associated with the participant for video communication based on the received at least a part of the respective sensor signal.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de génération d'un signal associé à un participant de vidéocommunication. Le procédé consiste à prévoir au moins deux capteurs dans un lieu de réunion pour acquérir un signal de capteur respectif, au moins l'un des signaux de capteur acquis comprenant des informations relatives au participant ; à prévoir un dispositif de traitement hôte pour chacun desdits deux capteurs pour recevoir et analyser le signal de capteur respectif pour générer des métadonnées respectives, les métadonnées respectives comprenant des informations concernant le signal de capteur respectif ; à envoyer, par chaque dispositif de traitement hôte, les métadonnées respectives à un dispositif de traitement client ; à déterminer, par le dispositif de traitement client, sur la base des métadonnées respectives reçues, s'il convient de demander au moins une partie du signal de capteur respectif acquis par au moins l'un desdits deux capteurs ; lors de la détermination du fait qu'il convient de demander l'au moins une partie du signal de capteur respectif, à envoyer, par le dispositif de traitement client, une demande au dispositif de traitement hôte recevant le signal de capteur respectif en provenance dudit capteur desdits deux capteurs ; lors de la réception de la demande, à envoyer, par ledit dispositif de traitement hôte, ladite partie du signal de capteur respectif au dispositif de traitement client ; à générer, par le dispositif de traitement client, le signal associé au participant de vidéocommunication sur la base de ladite partie reçue du signal de capteur respectif.
