A writing implement (10) configured to emit light for altering the appearance of a substrate (52) comprising at least one photochromic material, wherein the writing implement comprises: - an elongate body portion (12) enabling a user to grip the writing implement, wherein the body portion comprises a proximal end (P) and a distal end (D); - a first light source (16) configured to emit light from the proximal end, wherein the emitted light comprises at least a first colour component within a first wavelength range (65), wherein the first wavelength range at least partially corresponds to a deactivation spectrum of a first photochromic material (62Y) of the substrate (52); and - a controller (18) configured to receive input from a user, and to generate signals for controlling the first light source based on the received user input.[French]
La présente invention concerne un instrument d'écriture (10) conçu pour émettre de la lumière pour modifier l'aspect d'un substrat (52) comprenant au moins un matériau photochrome, l'instrument d'écriture comprenant : - une partie corps allongée (12) permettant à un utilisateur de saisir l'instrument d'écriture, la partie corps comprenant une extrémité proximale (P) et une extrémité distale (D) ; - une première source de lumière (16) conçue pour émettre de la lumière à partir de l'extrémité proximale, la lumière émise comprenant au moins une première composante de couleur à l'intérieur d'une première plage de longueurs d'onde (65), la première plage de longueurs d'onde correspondant au moins partiellement à un spectre de désactivation d'un premier matériau photochrome (62Y) du substrat (52) ; et - un dispositif de commande (18) conçu pour recevoir une entrée d'un utilisateur, et pour générer des signaux pour commander la première source de lumière sur la base de l'entrée d'utilisateur reçue.
