Abstract[English] Transport of biological samples may require dampening of vibration and collision in order to preserve sample quality, among other precautions. An example is semen transport kits. Prior art reports semen transport kits with thermal insulation. However, vibration is known to decrease sperm quality, particularly motility. The present invention provides a vibration-dampening shock-absorbing kit for transportation of biological samples. Vibration-dampening and shock absorption are achieved by depositing the sample in a container that floats in a high density fluid within another container. Floating range of the internal container is controlled by a membrane that holds said internal container in place while allowing a limited range of slow movement within the high density fluid.
