An adhesive element is provided for an ostomy device, said adhesive element comprising a first adhesive composition, and a second water-swellable composition. The adhesive element is ring-shaped and delimited by an inner edge and an outer edge. The adhesive element comprises at least one slit, extending through at least the second composition, said at least one slit extending from the inner edge of the adhesive element towards the outer edge of the adhesive element.[French]
