Abstract[English]
A first aspect of the invention provides a wind turbine blade comprising an inboard wind turbine blade portion and an outboard wind turbine blade portion for joining together by a joint, each of the inboard and outboard wind turbine blade portions having an end with an aerofoil profile, wherein the aerofoil profile has both concave and convex geometric portions, the end of each of the respective wind turbine blade portions having a plurality of inserts embedded therein, each insert comprising an end portion having a connection for coupling the insert to another of the inserts across the joint and an extension portion which extends away from the end portion to a tip, wherein the plurality of inserts of one of the respective wind turbine blade portions includes: at least one first insert; and at least one second insert, wherein the first insert has a geometry different than a geometry of the second insert.[French]
Un premier aspect de l'invention concerne une pale d'éolienne comprenant une partie pale d'éolienne intérieure et une partie pale d'éolienne extérieure pour se joindre ensemble par un joint ; chacune des parties pale d'éolienne intérieure et extérieure présente une extrémité avec un profil aérodynamique ; le profil aérodynamique comprend des parties géométriques concave et convexe ; l'extrémité de chacune des parties de pale d'éolienne respective comprend une pluralité d'inserts intégrés dans celles-ci ; chaque insert comprend une partie d'extrémité ayant une liaison pour coupler l'insert à un autre des inserts à travers le joint et une partie d'extension qui s'étend de l'opposé de la partie d'extrémité jusqu'à une pointe ; la pluralité d'inserts de l'une des parties de pale d'éolienne respectives comprend : au moins un premier insert ; et au moins un second insert, le premier insert ayant une géométrie différente de celle du second insert.
