Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltbare Klauenkupplung (1) mit einem ersten Kupplungspartner (2), der eine erste Klauenverzahnung (12) aufweist und um eine Drehachse (3) drehbar ist, einem zweiten Kupplungspartner (4), der eine zweite Klauenverzahnung (14) zum Eingriff in die erste Klauenverzahnung (12) aufweist, gekennzeichnet durch ein Sperrelement (5), das radial zur Drehachse (3) durch Fliehkraft verlagerbar ist, axial zwischen den beiden Kupplungspartnern (2, 4) angeordnet ist, in einer radial äußeren Stellung sich an einer ersten Abstützfläche (6) des ersten Kupplungspartners (2) und an einer zweiten Abstützfläche (8) des zweiten Kupplungspartners abstützt (4), in einer radial inneren Stellung mit mindestens einer der beiden Abstützflächen (6, 8) axial überlappt.
