Es wird eine Anzeigevorrichtung bereitgestellt, die dazu ausgelegt ist, in einem Kraftfahrzeug verbaut zu werden, aufweisend eine erste Anzeigeeinheit (AE1), die im Wesentlichen in eine zweite Anzeigeeinheit (AE2) integriert ist, wobei die erste Anzeigeeinheit vorzugsweise ein anderes Verfahren zur Anzeige von Informationen verwendet als die zweite Anzeigeeinheit, und wobei die erste Anzeigeeinheit und die zweite Anzeigeeinheit von einer Versorgungsspannung (VS) versorgbar sind und wobei die erste Anzeigeeinheit eine Logikschaltung ((LS) aufweist, und wobei die Logikschaltung dazu eingerichtet ist, eine Veränderung wenigstens eines Bussignals (BS) und insbesondere den Wegfall wenigstens eines Bussignals zu überwachen, und abhängig davon einen Hinweis (H) auf der ersten Anzeigeeinheit auszugeben, und wobei die erste Anzeigeeinheit eine Spannungsversorgung aufweist und zusätzlich von dieser versorgbar ist.[English]
