Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schutzbauteil (2) für eine Kraftwagenkarosserie (4) eines Sonderschutzkraftwagens, mit wenigstens einem ersten Wandabschnitt (11), welcher wenigstens einen Befestigungsbereich (12) aufweist, über weichen das Schutzbauteil (2) an einem eine Türöffnung (9) der Kraftwagenkarosserie (4) zumindest teilweise begrenzenden Karosseriebauteil (3) der Kraftwagenkarosserie (4) im Bereich der Türöffnung (9) auf einer in Fahrzeugquerrichtung (13) nach außen weisenden Außenseite (14) des Karosseriebauteils (3) zu halten ist, und mit wenigstens einem schräg oder senkrecht von dem ersten Wandabschnitt (11) abstehenden zweiten Wandabschnitt (15), mittels welchem der Sonderschutzkraftwagen vor einer Ansprengung, einem Beschuss oder dergleichen geschützt ist.[English]
