Provided are a Hedera helix extract, a preparation method therefor, and use thereof. The preparation method comprises extracting Hedera helix leaves with 75%-85% ethanol, concentrating, adjusting the pH value to 9.5-11, standing, filtering to obtain a crude extract, passing the crude extract through a chromatographic column, and eluting with 60%-80% ethanol to prepare the Hedera helix extract. The chromatographic column is an HPD100 macroporous resin column, a polyamide column or a C18 column. The Hedera helix extract can be used for preparing drugs with anti-inflammatory, expectorant, and antitussive effects, as well as for treating acute bronchitis.[French]
