The present invention belongs to the field of batteries, and particularly relates to an insulating protective component for a high-capacity battery, a first cylinder, a housing and a high-capacity battery, which are used for solving the problems of potential safety hazards arising from electrification of housings and terminals in high-capacity batteries during use. The insulating protective component is used for being arranged on a housing of a high-capacity battery, so as to protect the high-capacity battery. The first cylinder is provided with at least one open end, an inner cavity of the first cylinder being used for accommodating a plurality of battery cells, and the wall surface of the first cylinder being provided with the insulating protective component. The high-capacity battery comprises a housing, a plurality of battery cells arranged in an inner cavity of the housing and arranged in a same direction, and the insulating protective component arranged outside the housing.[French]
