Abstract[English]
Methods and devices are provided that enable user equipment (UE) beam tracking. The methods enable a UE to update a UE beam thereby providing improved beam alignment between a base station and the UE. UE beam tracking as disclosed herein may provide higher beam reference signal received power (RSRP) and lower overhead. Methods disclosed herein enable tracking of a UE beam that is part of a beam pair used for a serving signal and/or other UE beams that may be used in various beam management methods, such as beam switching, handover; or beam failure recovery.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs qui permettent un suivi de faisceau d'équipement utilisateur (UE). Les procédés permettent à un UE de mettre à jour un faisceau d'UE, ce qui permet d'obtenir un alignement de faisceau amélioré entre une station de base et l'UE. Un suivi de faisceau d'UE tel que décrit ici peut fournir une puissance reçue de signal de référence de faisceau (RSRP) supérieure et un surdébit inférieur.
