Legal Administrative and Research Assistant

In my position, I am responsible for the preparation and distribution of correspondence for Trade Mark and Patent Attorneys. I also conduct legal research using subscription database services (such as WestLaw and Lexis) and create reports for use by the Division’s Attorneys.
I also assist Attorneys with client networking projects on an as-needed basis and maintain regular communication with clients, helping to keep them informed of their trade mark, design or patent application’s progress.
