Abstract[English]
A web browser extension for annotating a web page in a web browser is described. The extension operates to create an annotation item box module in a side panel that contains separate annotation highlighted content that corresponds to and is the same as annotation highlighted content in the web page that was added by the user in the web browser. The separate annotation highlighted content in the side panel presents the annotation highlighted content to enable the user to view the annotation highlighted content without having to navigate to or view them on the web browser. The extension operates to automatically save the resource locator to the web page that is linked to the annotation in the side panel in an embedded link. The user can then visit the web page on which the annotation resides and share a selected trove and documents with others, maintaining the source citation.[French]
L'invention concerne une extension de navigateur web permettant d'annoter une page web dans un navigateur web. L'extension permet de créer, dans un panneau latéral, un module de boîte d'éléments d'annotation qui contient un contenu séparé mis en évidence par annotation qui correspond et est identique à un contenu mis en évidence par annotation dans la page web ajoutée par l'utilisateur dans le navigateur web. Le contenu séparé mis en évidence par annotation dans le panneau latéral présente le contenu mis en évidence par annotation pour permettre à l'utilisateur de visualiser le contenu mis en évidence par annotation sans avoir à y accéder ou à l'afficher sur le navigateur web. L'extension permet d'enregistrer automatiquement dans un lien intégré le localisateur de ressources sur la page web qui est liée à l'annotation dans le panneau latéral. L'utilisateur peut ensuite consulter la page web sur laquelle se trouve l'annotation et partager avec d'autres une trouvaille et des documents sélectionnés, tout en conservant la citation de la source.
