Abstract[English]
Methods and apparatuses for performing ground-based testing for re-ingestion of flammable fluid are provided. An apparatus includes a test section extending from an input port to an exhaust port and including a bottom wall and opposite first and second sidewalls, wherein the sidewalls are configured for connection to the test article; an enclosure configured for connection to the test section over the test article, wherein an interior space is defined between the enclosure and the test article; and an injection port configured to inject a fluid into the test section upstream of the enclosure, wherein the enclosure captures any fluid re-ingested through the test article.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés et des appareils pour effectuer un test basé au sol pour une réingestion de fluide inflammable. Un appareil comprend une section de test s'étendant d'un orifice d'entrée à un orifice d'échappement et comprenant une paroi inférieure et des première et seconde parois latérales opposées, les parois latérales étant conçues pour être reliées à l'article soumis à un test ; une enceinte conçue pour être reliée à la section de test sur l'article soumis à un test, un espace intérieur étant délimité entre l'enceinte et l'article soumis à un test ; et un orifice d'injection conçu pour injecter un fluide dans la section de test en amont de l'enceinte, l'enceinte capturant tout fluide réingéré à travers l'article soumis à un test.
