Abstract[English]
An antimicrobial article provides antimicrobial properties when applied to various surfaces or objects that are frequently touched. When it is applied to a surface or object, the antimicrobial efficacy can inhibit, mitigate, or reduce the transmission of various microorganisms from one person to another after human touches. This antimicrobial article can be made to have: a non-electrically conductive substrate comprising first and second opposing surfaces; a catalytic ink disposed as a pattern on the first opposing surface; and a pattern of electrolessly plated copper metal disposed in registration with the catalytic ink pattern.[French]
Un article antimicrobien fournit des propriétés antimicrobiennes lorsqu'il est appliqué à diverses surfaces ou objets qui sont fréquemment touchés. Lorsqu'il est appliqué à une surface ou à un objet, l'efficacité antimicrobienne peut inhiber, atténuer ou réduire la transmission de divers micro-organismes d'une personne à une autre après des touchers humains.
