The present disclosure relates to apparatus, systems, and methods for detecting an altered physiological state in a subject. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to apparatus, systems, and methods for detecting cancer in a subject using volatile-organic- chemical biomarkers emitted from a sample of the subject's biofluids or in a sample of the subject's exhaled breath. The present disclosure provides apparatus, systems, and methods for detecting prostate cancer, and for distinguishing aggressive prostate cancer from indolent prostate cancer, using VOC biomarkers emitted from one or more samples of the subject's urine.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne un appareil, des systèmes et des procédés de détection d'un état physiologique modifié chez un sujet.
