Abstract[English]
An improved Battery Electric Vehicle heat transfer fluids is made diluting a heat transfer fluid concentrate comprising greater than or equal to 85 weight percent of a freezing point depressant; 20 to 80 ppm of calcium ions; an azole compound; 100 to 250 ppm of an inorganic phosphate; and a polyelectrolyte polymer dispersant, wherein the heat transfer fluid concentrate has a pH of 7 to 9.0 and the weight ratio of polyelectrolyte polymer dispersant to calcium ions is 1 to 3 and the weight ratio of inorganic phosphate to calcium is 2 to 4. For use this concentrate is preferably diluted with deionized water usually 50/50. The addition of N-methyl-imidazole provides protection against vapor phase corrosion particularly for ferrous metals.[French]
