Abstract[English]
The proposed apparatus, which functions to capture insects for research purposes, incorporates a mesh platform used to gather insects, at least one funnel used to direct insects to the mesh platform, a fan positioned at the base of the apparatus to create air flow which forces insects to gather on the mesh platform. A camera placed above the mesh platform and funnel to collect images of the insects on the mesh platform on a periodic schedule. After imaging, the mesh platform is inverted to transfer specimens off the mesh platform.[French]
L'invention concerne un appareil qui fonctionne pour capturer des insectes à des fins de recherche, et incorpore une plate-forme à filet utilisée pour rassembler des insectes, au moins un entonnoir utilisé pour diriger les insectes vers la plate-forme à filet, un ventilateur positionné au niveau de la base de l'appareil pour créer un flux d'air qui force des insectes à se rassembler sur la plate-forme à filet.
