Abstract[English]
A drug injection device consists of a body, a cap, a striker, a spin wheel, a button, a spring, an ampoule, and optionally a needle. Each of the body, the cap, the striker, the spin wheel and the button is a molded plastic part, made out of mostly polycarbonate, which slide, snap, screw or rest in place, without the use of adhesives or fasteners. Also disclosed is a system for recycling a drug injection device having molded plastic parts made from mostly polycarbonates, comprising disassembling the drug injection device, separating the molded plastic parts from all other parts, and reprocessing the molded plastic parts together into recycled resin, which may be through regrinding, melting, and pelletizing.[French]
Un dispositif d'injection de médicament est constitué d'un corps, d'un capuchon, d'un percuteur, d'une roue de rotation, d'un bouton, d'un ressort, d'une ampoule et éventuellement d'une aiguille. Chacun du corps, du capuchon, du percuteur, de la roue de rotation et du bouton est une pièce moulée en plastique, constituée principalement de polycarbonate, qui coulisse, s'encliquette, se visse ou reste en place, sans utiliser d'adhésifs ni d'éléments de fixation. Est également divulgué un système de recyclage d'un dispositif d'injection de médicament comprenant des pièces en plastique moulé fabriquées à partir de polycarbonates majoritairement, comprenant le démontage du dispositif d'injection de médicament, la séparation des pièces moulées en matière plastique de toutes les autres pièces, et le retraitement des pièces moulées en matière plastique ensemble en résine recyclée, éventuellement par rebroyage, fusion et pelletisation.
