A crankshaft bearing arrangement (1) for an internal combustion engine (5), said bearing arrangement (1) comprising: a bearing (10A, 10B) adapted to be arranged at a crankshaft (16) of an internal combustion engine (1); a bearing seat (50) adapted to house the bearing (10A, 10B), wherein a surface (13) of the bearing seat (50) facing and supporting the bearing (10A, 10B) is made from a polymeric material; a sealing arrangement (20) for sealing against the crankshaft (16) and the bearing seat (50); and a protecting member (100) arranged to form a layer between at least a portion of the bearing (10A, 10B) and the bearing seat (50).[French]
