Abstract[English] The invention encompasses a method for increasing the level of hydrogen in syngas from a syngas device or another device or another arrangement for the production of biomass-based syngas. In syngas-devices purposed for destructive distillation, pyrolysis, of biomass a gas mixture is produced typically containing amongst other: 27% carbon monoxide and 14% hydrogen. According to the invention carbon monoxide is repurposed to produce hydrogen in a water-gas shift reaction whereby the levels of hydrogen could increase up to circa 40%.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé pour augmenter le niveau d'hydrogène dans un gaz de synthèse à partir d'un dispositif de gaz de synthèse ou d'un autre dispositif ou d'un autre agencement pour la production de gaz de synthèse à base de biomasse. Dans des dispositifs à gaz de synthèse soumis à une distillation destructive, la pyrolyse, de la biomasse d'un mélange gazeux est produite et contient généralement entre autres : 27 % de monoxyde de carbone et 14 % d'hydrogène. Selon l'invention, le monoxyde de carbone est retraité pour produire de l'hydrogène dans une réaction de conversion eau-gaz, les niveaux d'hydrogène pouvant augmenter jusqu'à environ 40 %.
