Abstract[English]
The subject invention relates to improving traffic safety at railway crossings by using traffic light signals to inform and warn road users of approaching a free and/or occupied railway crossing in advance. The new information method is based on increasing the information content for road vehicle drivers by providing and repeating light information earlier, which is achieved by introducing new traffic light signs in the railway crossing zone at standardized distances. The position of the signs represents the position of the standard vertical traffic signal used to secure the railway crossing. The production of traffic light signs is based on the use of standard materials, dimensions and other standard solutions.[French]
La présente invention concerne l'amélioration de la sécurité du trafic au niveau de passages à niveau à l'aide de signaux par feux de circulation pour informer et avertir les usagers de la route à l'avance de l'approche d'un passage à niveau libre et/ou occupé. Le nouveau procédé d'informations est basé sur l'augmentation du contenu d'informations destiné aux conducteurs de véhicule routier en fournissant et en répétant des informations lumineuses plus tôt, ce qui est obtenu par l'introduction de nouveaux panneaux à feux de signalisation dans la zone des passages à niveau à des distances normalisées. La position des panneaux représente la position du panneau de signalisation vertical standard utilisé pour sécuriser le passage à niveau. La production de panneaux à feux de signalisation est basée sur l'utilisation de matériaux standard, de dimensions et d'autres solutions standard.
