Aspect of the present invention pertains to a brake assembly (110) for a vehicle (100). The brake assembly (110) include a primary member (202), a secondary member (210) is detachably connected to the primary member (202) via a plurality of connecting members (302, 304). In an aspect, the primary member (202) include at least one first cavity (202a) and the secondary member (210) comprises at least a second cavity (210a). In an aspect, the at least first cavity (202a) is configured to overlap the at least second cavity (210a) to form an overlapped portion (402a). In an aspect, the overlapped portion (402a) is adapted to receive at least one of the plurality of connecting members (302, 304).[French]
