Abstract[English]
The present disclosure discloses techniques for controlling network policies for energy saving in a communication system. In one embodiment, the present disclosure discloses a method which comprises obtaining, from an Operations Administration and Maintenance node, energy consumption assistance information associated with one or more Network Functions of a Core Network (CN). The method further comprises calculating, based on the obtained energy consumption assistance information, energy consumption associated with a network element that is associated with the CN. The method further comprises transmitting a request to a Policy Control Function for controlling one or more network policies when the calculated energy consumption associated with the network element exceeds a predefined energy threshold.[French]
La présente divulgation divulgue des techniques de contrôle des politiques de réseau pour une économie d'énergie dans un système de communication. Dans un mode de réalisation, la présente divulgation concerne un procédé qui consiste à obtenir, de la part d'un nœud d'administration et de maintenance d'opérations, des informations d'assistance à la consommation d'énergie associées à une ou plusieurs fonctions de réseau d'un réseau central (CN). Le procédé consiste également à calculer, sur la base des informations d'assistance à la consommation d'énergie obtenues, la consommation d'énergie associée à un élément de réseau qui est associé au CN.
