Abstract[English]
The present invention provides a liquid composition comprising effective amount of Hydroxyurea for oral administration. The invention further discloses liquid formulation in form of ready to use oral suspension which remains stable at room temperature at the time of dispensing, storage and even after reopening of the container comprising the suspension. Also provided is a method of preparing the formulation and treating sickle cell anemia in pediatric patients.[French]
La présente invention concerne une composition liquide comprenant une quantité efficace d'hydroxyurée pour une administration orale. L'invention concerne en outre une formulation liquide sous la forme d'une suspension orale prête à l'emploi qui reste stable à température ambiante au moment de l'administration, du stockage et même après la réouverture du récipient comprenant la suspension. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de la formulation et de traitement de l'anémie falciforme chez des patients pédiatriques.
