Abstract[English]
The present disclosure relates to methods for directing collected plasma in a protein purification process. The method includes testing a sample of blood, serum or plasma obtained from a donor to determine a concentration level of a protein of interest in a plasma unit collected from the donor. Collected plasma units are separated based on the respective determined concentration level and directed to selected, separate processing pathways based on the determined concentration level of the protein of interest being either above or below a threshold concentration level. The present disclosure also relates to a test kit for determining a concentration level of a protein of interest in a plasma unit collected from a donor.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne des procédés pour diriger un plasma collecté dans un processus de purification de protéines. Le procédé consiste à tester un échantillon de sang, de sérum ou de plasma obtenu auprès d'un donneur afin de déterminer un niveau de concentration d'une protéine d'intérêt dans une unité de plasma collectée auprès du donneur. Des unités de plasma collectées sont séparées sur la base du niveau de concentration déterminé respectif et dirigées vers des voies de traitement séparées sélectionnées sur la base du niveau de concentration déterminé de la protéine d'intérêt étant soit supérieure, soit inférieure à un niveau de concentration seuil. La présente divulgation concerne également un kit de test pour déterminer un niveau de concentration d'une protéine d'intérêt dans une unité de plasma collectée auprès d'un donneur.
