Abstract[English] The present invention relates to a disinfection system and method for cleaning a target device, particularly an ultrasound probe, using ultraviolet radiation within a cleaning chamber, wherein gaseous or particle byproducts are generated during irradiation and are removed from the air within the cleaning chamber.[French] La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de désinfection pour nettoyer un dispositif cible, notamment une sonde à ultrasons, à l'aide d'un rayonnement ultraviolet dans une chambre de nettoyage, des sous-produits gazeux ou particulaires étant générés pendant l'irradiation et étant éliminés de l'air à l'intérieur de la chambre de nettoyage.
