Abstract[English]
Processes are provided in which successive steps of hydrometallurgical value extraction are provided, to extract iron, aluminum, nickel, cobalt, manganese and magnesium from nickel saprolite ores. Processes are provided that are substantially free of added sodium, to facilitate the production of high purity magnesium chloride products. Precipitations are carried out with an olivine slurry, so that additional metal values are extracted from the olivine materials while facilitating thorough precipitation of metal values.[French]
L'invention concerne des procédés dans lesquels des étapes successives d'extraction hydrométallurgique de métaux de valeur sont fournies, afin d'extraire du fer, de l'aluminium, du nickel, du cobalt, du manganèse et du magnésium à partir de minerais de saprolite de nickel. L'invention concerne des procédés qui sont sensiblement exempts de sodium ajouté, afin de faciliter la production de produits de chlorure de magnésium de haute pureté. Des précipitations sont effectuées avec une suspension d'olivine, de telle sorte que des métaux de valeur supplémentaires sont extraits des matériaux d'olivine tout en facilitant la précipitation approfondie de métaux de valeur.
