Abstract[English]
Embodiments here observe the driver and determine an orientation of an articulating camera based on driver gaze tracking and external object detection. A fixed camera collects image data of the vehicle's surroundings, and an articulating camera collects image data of the driver. The gaze direction is used to identify what objects in the vehicle's surroundings the driver is looking at. Based on the position of the object, an orientation of the articulating camera may be determined.[French]
Des modes de réalisation selon la présente invention consistent à observer le conducteur et à déterminer une orientation d'une caméra articulée sur la base d'un suivi du regard du conducteur et d'une détection d'objet externe. Une caméra fixe collecte des données d'image de l'environnement du véhicule et une caméra articulée collecte des données d'image du conducteur. La direction du regard est utilisée pour identifier les objets que regarde le conducteur dans l'environnement du véhicule. Sur la base de la position de l'objet, une orientation de la caméra articulée peut être déterminée.
