Abstract[English]
A user-configurable inventory management system includes an enclosure defining an interior, a compartment assembly disposed within the interior, and sliding hatches coupled to the enclosure. A number of compartments form respective interior spaces. The sliding hatches are arranged to slide along respective sliding axes that are parallel to one another and spaced from one another, and each of the sliding hatches are aligned with a respective one of the compartments and one of the respective access areas defined in the enclosure. The compartment assembly is user-configurable to change the number of the compartments by dividing at least one of the compartments into the sub- compartments to provide the respective interior spaces of the different sizes as compared to the respective interior spaces of the compartments. The compartment assembly is also user-reconfigurable to change the number of the compartments by combining at least two of the sub-compartments and their respective interior spaces.[French]
