An apparatus configured to: determine sequences available for transmitting uplink control information; determine a reference payload size; divide the sequences available for transmitting the uplink control information into a plurality of subsets based, at least partially, on the reference payload size; and determine at least one sequence for transmitting the uplink control information within at least one subset of the plurality of subsets.[French]
