Abstract[English] A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided. The method includes determining a size of a physical uplink channel (PUSCH) allocation of a transport block (TB) carrying a buffer status report (BSR). The method further includes selecting a size profile-based BSR format based on the size of the PUSCH allocation of the TB carrying the BSR, where selecting (610) the size profile-based BSR format comprises a selection of bits per logical channel group, where a first logical channel group is allocated more bits to report buffer size values than a second logical channel group. The method includes transmitting, to a network node, the BSR in the selected size profile-based BSR format.[French] L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil, et un produit-programme informatique. Le procédé consiste à déterminer une taille d'une attribution de canal physique partagé montant (PUSCH) d'un bloc de transport (TB) portant un rapport d'état de tampon (BSR). Le procédé consiste en outre à sélectionner un format de BSR reposant sur un profil de taille sur la base de la taille de l'attribution PUSCH du TB portant le BSR, la sélection (610) du format de BSR reposant sur un profil de taille comprenant une sélection de bits par groupe de canaux logiques, un premier groupe de canaux logiques se voyant attribuer plus de bits pour rapporter des valeurs de taille de tampon qu'un second groupe de canaux logiques. Le procédé consiste à transmettre, à un nœud de réseau, le BSR dans le format BSR reposant sur un profil de taille sélectionné.
