Abstract[English]
A deformable wheel (10), comprising a hub (12); a deformable tread (14) surrounding the hub (12) spaced apart therefrom; and a plurality of spokes (16) extending between the hub (12) and the tread (14), each spoke (16) being movable between spoke shortest and longest configurations. The spokes (16) are configured and sized and operatively coupled to each other so that the tread (14) maintains a single predetermined elongated shape as the spokes (16) are moved between the spoke first and second configurations.[French]
L'invention concerne une roue déformable (10), comprenant un moyeu (12) ; une bande de roulement déformable (14) entourant le moyeu (12) espacée de celui-ci ; et une pluralité de rayons (16) s'étendant entre le moyeu (12) et la bande de roulement (14), chaque rayon (16) étant mobile entre des configurations de rayon le plus court et le plus long.
