The present disclosure provides a cardamom extract composition and a method for its preparation. The composition comprises polyphenols, flavonoids, volatile oils, and cineol. When administered to humans, the composition enhances cognitive function. The cardamom extract composition, when administered in combination with caffeine, results in a synergistic effect, producing enhanced and sustained cognitive benefits over an extended period.[French]
