Abstract[English]
The present disclosure relates to a method for modifying the shape of permeable fibers, such as keratinous fibers, enabling in particular styling of mammalian hair fibers. The method comprises applying to the fibers a composition comprising a natural polymer and a fatty agent, both being water-insoluble and jointly polymerizable, and a water-soluble hygroscopic agent, all afore-said ingredients being small enough to permit their penetration within the fibers; leaving the composition on the fibers for sufficient time so that at least part of said materials penetrate within the fibers; and curing the water-insoluble ingredients to internally form a shapeable polymer capable of maintaining the fibers in a desirable shape. Compositions adapted for such method and kits allowing to prepare the same are also disclosed.[French]
La présente divulgation concerne un procédé de modification de la forme de fibres perméables, telles que des fibres kératiniques, permettant en particulier le coiffage de fibres capillaires de mammifère. Le procédé consiste à appliquer une composition sur les fibres comprenant un polymère naturel et un agent gras, tous deux insolubles dans l'eau et polymérisables conjointement, et un agent hygroscopique hydrosoluble, tous lesdits ingrédients étant suffisamment petits pour permettre leur pénétration à l'intérieur des fibres ; laisser la composition sur les fibres pendant une durée suffisante pour qu'au moins une partie desdits matériaux pénètrent à l'intérieur des fibres ; et durcir les ingrédients insolubles dans l'eau pour former intérieurement un polymère façonnable capable de maintenir les fibres dans une forme souhaitable. L'invention concerne également des compositions adaptées à un tel procédé et des kits permettant de les préparer.
