Abstract[English]
A method for producing a polyhydroxyalkanoate from biomass is described herein. The method can include providing a biomass stream; treating the biomass stream in an anaerobic digestion reactor to provide a treated biomass stream comprising volatile fatty acids; contacting the treated biomass stream with halophilic microorganism to produce the polyhydroxyalkanoate intracellularly; and extracting the polyhydroxyalkanoate from the halophilic microorganism.[French]
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un polyhydroxyalcanoate à partir de biomasse. Le procédé peut comprendre la fourniture d'un flux de biomasse ; le traitement du flux de biomasse dans un réacteur de digestion anaérobie pour obtenir un flux de biomasse traité comprenant des acides gras volatils ; la mise en contact du flux de biomasse traité avec un micro-organisme halophile pour produire le polyhydroxyalcanoate de manière intracellulaire ; et l'extraction du polyhydroxyalcanoate à partir du micro-organisme halophile.
