Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to transmitting (3502) a plurality of SSB bursts within each of a plurality of beam frequency effective regions, each SSB burst comprising a plurality of SSBs. Aspects of the present disclosure relate to associating (3504) a RACH occasion with each beam frequency effective region of an SSB transmission based at least in part on the frequency region configuration. Aspects of the present disclosure relate to determining (3506) a respective beam frequency effective region associated with the UE based on a PRACH configuration and a PRACH transmission received during an RO. Aspects of the present disclosure relate to establishing (3508) a connection with the UE using resources associated with the respective beam frequency effective region.[French]
