Abstract[English]
In certain embodiments, a surgical system includes an input device, a first surgical console, and a second surgical console. Each surgical console includes a respective controller that controls operations of the surgical console. During a first time period, the first surgical console is assigned ownership of the input device and is controlled based on input(s) therefrom. The second surgical console is non-responsive to the input(s) during the first time period. The first surgical console transfers ownership to the second surgical console responsive to receiving a transfer indication. During a second time period, the second surgical console is assigned ownership of the input device and is controlled based on input(s) therefrom. The first surgical console is non-responsive to the input(s) during the second time period.[French]
