Provided herein are methods of treating acute exacerbations of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) comprising administering to the patient an anti-interleukin- 5 receptor alpha (IL-5Rα) antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof such as benralizumab.[French]
L'invention concerne des méthodes de traitement d'exacerbations aiguës de l'asthme et de la bronchopneumopathie chronique obstructive (BPCO) comprenant l'administration au patient d'un anticorps anti-récepteur alpha de l'interleukine 5 (IL-5 Rα) ou d'un fragment de liaison à l'antigène de celui-ci tel que le benralizumab.
