Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to beam monitoring based at least in part on beam status. An apparatus, such as a user equipment (UE), receives a set of beams comprising a plurality of subsets of beams and receives an indication of an activation or deactivation of a first subset of beams of the plurality of subsets of beams. The UE can monitor the first subset of beams based at least in part on the indication.[French]
